My 'schooling' was attending a good University for 4 years, doing soil research, speaking with professors, and maintaining a good GPA. How is this a 'loophole.' My goal, as stated in the OP, was NEVER to be arrogant, or to denigrate the MLS professionals who work so hard every day. I completely understand the idea of 'degree inflation', and can empathize with those who may experience this when payday comes. I wanted to take the time to apologize to any MLS professional, who believes that my actions may water down, or lower the standards of, the MLS field. I have been receiving a lot of backlash over this post. Please note, that my goals is not to become an MLS per se, I just want to be certified in certain techniques in order to become more competitive in the job market if you have better cert recommendations, please state them!.
